Your questions - Payments on Air France
How do I obtain proof of payment for my flight?
Can I purchase a ticket on the Air France website for a country other than my country of residence?
Certain banks will not process 3D Secure payments from a country other than your country of residence. 3D Secure is a secure online payment system that uses a single-use security code sent to you by your bank. Air France plays no part in providing this service.
Can I use more than one credit card or debit card when paying online?
To purchase your tickets using more than one credit or debit card, please contact us by telephone. When booking your ticket online, choose the “pay by telephone” option and call us within the next 24 hours. You may also book multiple tickets online through seperate transactions.
What should I do if my credit card is refused?
What does 3D Secure mean?
3D Secure™ (or 3DS) is a secure online payment service available for Visa and MasterCard cards. The authentication procedure is simple and involves 3 steps.
- Place your booking and enter your debit or credit card information.
- If the security system is activated for your card, a 3D Secure™ window will open. Your bank will ask you to verify your identity by entering an authentication code. In most cases, this is a single-use security code that is sent to you by SMS on your mobile phone.
- Once you enter the correct security code and your payment is accepted, your booking is confirmed.
Are payments on the Air France website secure?
All payments made on the Air France websites are secure. The "s" appearing after "http" in the URL indicates that you are viewing a secure page. Air France also uses the secure online payment and authentication service 3D Secure™, known as "Verified by Visa" for Visa cards and "MasterCard SecureCode" for MasterCard cards.
